Automobile Emergency Kit
Here are some items that should you get stuck or need to go off road for a bit will enable you to erect a shelter, and get your vehicle out of trouble. You can stay warm and get through a couple days until you get help.

- Store items in a fifty cal. ammo can where practical
- Old cell phone still capable of dialing 911 and 12V adapter. I like to keep it plugged in all the time if you have an extra outlet.
- CB radio with 12v adapter
- GMRS/FMS Radios
- Emergency Window Punch (especially if you live by water)
- Emergency Seat Belt Cutter. Tape them on the back of your childrens infant seats where necessary. (If you get in an accident and need to get the infant out quick just cut the belts. Unbuckeling can take two long and buckles can damage in an accident. You need exit acess quick! These are inexpensive
- Jumper cables
- Flashlight - Powerful Waterproof D cell type
- Three cans of fix a flat
- Lighter plug in tire pump that also has emergency lights.
- Flat tire plus and tool set
- Eextra oil, coolant and washer fluid
- 1 gallon of non-drinkable water
- 5 small bungee cords
- Road flares
- One Piece Tyvek Disoposable Rain Suit in case you have to make repairs in the rain
- US/ Local road atlas

- Match lightable camp fuel tabs (Trioxane)
- Candles
- Thick plastic mylar bag
- Plastic garbage bag
- Zip Loc Bags
- Duct Tape
- Old CD for reflective rescue mirror
- 2 liters of drinkable water
- AC Extension Cord
- Small Swiss Army knifes
- 50 feet of rope
- US M7 bayonet or Machete
- Sewing kit with thread, buttons, safety pins, needles and straight pins
- Pens, pencils and writing pad
- Small funnel
- Drinking mug
- 12V DC to 120VAC voltage inverter
- Extra socks
- Extra dry loose clothes such as sweat pants and shirt for each person in your family
- Fleece Shirt or light Jacket
- Blanket
- A couple cans of food
- Monofilament and fish hooks
- Spare precharged Lithium Batteries. Lithium Batteries do not go dead sitting around.
- You can recharge them by switching them out of plug in DC devices used in your ciggerette lighter
- Keep the size batteries you need and keep them all of the rechargable kind if possible

- Various gauze pads, bandaids and medical tape in a waterproof bag or case
