About Me

We are Disabled American Veterans continuing to support our country and our fellow vets.

We set up this bio to provide you with more information about us and the things we are into. Our story started long ago and it really got going after Hurricane Katrina, which, shook us out of our 9-11 stupor. Now we offer informationand sell almost exclusely Emergency Preparedness gear. Katrina made us very aware of the sheer inability for any of the Federal, State, or Local Goverment to help us with any speed or competance. We realized that we had to be responsible for our own protection and survival for a period of time.

Crisis Preparedness

Getting a grasp on just what we needed to do was a bit overwhelming and the first thing I did, is what I always do...I bought a book. Crisis Preparedness Handbook by Jack Spigarelli. It was a very good start and let me set goals, prioritizing what needed to get done first and second, so on , an so on until my ultimate survival plan was in place. It gave me a path that I continue to follow, improving my knoweldge and skills to keep the edge.

The book of choice... my next book...Bostons Gun Bible by Boston T. Party. Sounded like a good book to find out what firearms might be good. Right? It was. An excellent book for bringing you through the many choices that beset you. Even for a novice to firearms it is an Excellent book. It is mostly informative with a little gun nut thrown in. The infomration is great. You have plenty of time to become a gun nut yourself after you get a gun. Boston poineted me in the direction of the second admendment and it has been a great experience. You can see my reccomended reading for more books I have found to be beneficial. Both fiction and non-fiction as I continue to add to this page.

Lately, the growth of our interests has included asdding a blog It gives us a way to meet other free people interested in crisis preparedness, shooting, hunting, and related interests.
